After more than four months of negotiations, this is the contract BSWU's negotiation team and Beloit College negotiated. This contract has been ratified and will be in effect until 2027. Feel free to review some or all of the contract and ask any questions you have. For your convenience, we have annotated the document to give you the most important relevant information in plain English.

Especially regarding international students, it's important to know the ways in which joining a union and participating in one can affect your life as a Beloit College student, and what rights are protected as someone in a vulnerable population.

The Recognition Agreement is a document worked on by both Beloit College administration and BSWU, with the goal of establishing our movement on campus, and ensuring that the college remains impartial and neutral when engaging in bargaining or interacting with the union in any shape or form.
